What Sweeteners can I use?

In moderation, we suggest raw, local honey, dates, or pure maple syrup.

What about Spices?

Spices are fantastic. The only spices to stay away from would be those in the pepper family which can cause inflammation. Use them in small amounts if necessary.

What about Fruit?

Apples, Cherries, Blueberries, Watermelon, Pineapple, and Strawberries all contain elevated amounts of anti-inflammatory compounds that boost antioxidant protection for the body.  It is important to note that all fruits and vegetables should be organic.  And…we have to add avocado to this list because the incredible avocado is actually a fruit!

What about Citrus Fruits?

Lemons, limes, and grapefruit have a lower acidic value than the other citrus fruits. Using any of these three in small amounts is acceptable on the Lung Cleanse.

Is there a Protein Powder you recommend?

We like Spiru-tein Gold Vanilla. It is smooth when blended and tastes great.  It is important to note that the “Gold” means that it does not contain soy and is created from organic ingredients

Is there a Collagen Powder you recommend?

We recommend Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides.
